The Arsenal Match

Sara and I headed up to Manchester for the first of our City matches this season.

What a great result and a magnificent team performance. City came from a goal behind with replies from Sane and Sterling. Some say offside - I say the ref is never wrong. Whilst there we took the opportunity to wish Roger, Margaret, Neil, Mary and Chris some Christmas wishes with a meal together at Alberts Shed. The food there never dissappoints and yet again it didn't.

What a great month

Barcelona 3-1 win

Borrussia M 1:1

Qualificatio for last 16 in Champions League

Wins in the premier League at Palace and Burnley - and even Yaya has been involved

Really looking forward to Sara and I visiting the Etihad in December for the Arsenal Match. before that though the small matter of Chelsea on the 10th Dec

A difficult period - but still top

Amazingly after a run of just one win in seven matches, City remain at the top of the Premier League.

Today they face a very big test though. Barcelona are in town and they will know they beat us 4-0 just two weeks ago.

Top of the league at the International break.

City still sit proudly at the top of the league - but after the defeat by Spurs and the draw with Celtic, have the other Premier managers worked out how to counter Peps first tactical assault on the league?

Battle resumes against Everton at the weekend - before the biggest test yet - Barcelona at the Nou Camp. Derek and Charmaine were gifted a trip to Barcelona by Grace and Amelia, but a week early for Derek to see the action. Lots of Sangria though for them both.

Off to Italy

Joe Hart is off to Torino to play first team football - and who can blame him. City will still have to pick up his wage bill though!

Brilliant beginnings - but lacking Hart

Confidence to play the football they are capable of, seems to me, to be the gift Pep has brought to City.

Fantastic start 2 league wins and 5-0 in Bucharest in the Champions League qualifier.

The only downside is the statement that Pep is making at the expense of Joe Hart. Joe has been a great player for City over the years, and it is sad to see him pushed out of the club in this manner.

2016-17 matches

We are now 'soon to be' Brighton supporters, but Sara and I are still going to get to a couple of City matches.

I've just bought tickets for the Manchester derby and for the game against Arsenal. One game is December, just before Crimbo and the other into 2017.

Looking forward to the breath of fresh air that Pep Guardiola promises to bring to the club.

Incredible spending spree.

Not too many players have left yet though!!!
